The Avengers are once again assembling; this time on April 27th with the release of Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War”.

This is the third movie of Marvel’s Avengers series and has been highly anticipated since the release of the second movie two years ago.

The movie was originally supposed to be released May 4th but after a back and forth banter on twitter with Robert Downey Jr., Marvel announced the date change.

The movie picks up after many of the Marvel superheroes’ individual movies including “Captain America: Civil War”, “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Doctor Strange”, and “Black Panther”.

Joining the original Avengers is Spiderman, an honorary Avenger, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The story in this movie is that Thanos, the Titan who created Gamora and Nebula, goes on a mission of collect all six infinity stones in order to become more powerful and inflict his will into reality. The Avengers with the Guardians of the Galaxy have to come together to try to stop him.

The movie stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Tom Holland as Spiderman, Chris Pratt as Starlord, and so many more of our favorite actors.

There has already been a lot of hype around this movie with fans going through the old comic books and clues from previous movies to try to predict what’s going to happen.

When asked how she feels about the upcoming movie, Alyssa Barquin, a senior says, “I’m super pumped for the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ movie! I love Marvel and it’s supposed to be the most ambitious crossover movie and I love crossovers. I think it’s going to do really well. I always love Marvel movie because they’re funny and action packed. I’m excited to see all the characters together.

On the other hand, Sukhmani Batra, another senior, says, “I’m excited for the movie but I also kind of don’t want to watch it because they’re going to kill everyone”

Go check out one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year starting on April 27th!
