This year’s prom was held on May 5, 2018 in the San Jose Tech Museum.

Students had to arrive to the museum with their tickets, student ID, and their forms to enter. The time was from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Many people had different feelings about this year’s prom.

Tiffany Bello, a junior, said, “Honestly, I don’t really know how to feel about this year’s prom. It was my first prom, but I feel like there was something missing. The food was great, however, I feel like the song choices were a bit too much because no one was really dancing. However, I am excited to go to next year’s prom with my friends again.”

Natalie Lopez, a senior, said, “This year’s prom was so much better than last year’s. The food is a lot tastier and the songs that were played tonight were really good. I enjoyed taking many pictures with my friends and dancing them too. I’m glad that I went to this year’s prom!”

Hannah Lina Hebron, a senior, said, “This is my first prom and I enjoyed it. However, I regret wearing such thin high heels, my feet were killing me. I should have worn flats. The songs played were nice and the food choices were so good. I liked the chocolate fountain and the smoked salmon. It’s a shame I can’t go the prom again now that I’m a senior.”

Jasmine Zamora, a senior, said, “I really liked this year’s prom! There were many activities to do in the San Jose Tech Museum. I was not bored at all. I also liked the song choices and danced with all my friends. It was so stuffy in the dance room though.”

Joshua La Rosa, a senior, said, “I enjoyed this year’s prom. I went to prom with my three friends and had a great night there. The food was good and the songs were good choices as well. However, the only thing I didn’t like about this year’s prom was how we were let into the museum later than usual because there were so many people lined up. Also, waiting in line to be checked out was really long too. Other than that, I had a blast!”

This year’s prom was a night to remember. I hope everyone who went to this year’s prom in San Jose had a good time there with their friends.
