About two days ago, Timothy Heller , former best friend of Melanie Martinez, spoke out to the public eye that she was sexually assaulted by singer, Melanie Martinez.
Heller tweeted a long passage about the her experience and feelings towards the situation. Timothy kept this a secret for several years, but recently had the courage to speak up. You can find the long passage here.
“I am horrified and saddened by the statements and story told tonight by Timothy Heller. What she and I shared was a close friendship for a period of time. We came into each other’s lives as we were both starting our career as artist, and we tried to help each other. We both had pain in dealing with our individual demons and the new paths we were forging, but I truly felt we were trying to lift each other up. She never said no to what we choose to do together. And although we parted ways, I am sending her love and light always,” was Melanie’s response.
Many fans on Twitter had a lot to say after hearing about the accusation that was put out by Timothy Heller about Melanie Martinez molesting her.
Ceianna, a Logan student, had tweeted her opinion about the situation. “ This is so hard for me to read. A person that I’ve looked up to and loved for so long could possibly do this to her friend. Just goes to show that you really don’t know the people you admire like you think you do. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.”As you could see she was hurt and so many fans were devastated about hearing about someone they loved and supported for her for years.
