trump__clintonThe last presidential debate of this election, held at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, was a constant back and forth argument between republican nominee, prominent American businessman Donald Trump, and democratic nominee, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

Both candidates came forth with strong opinions that provided for an interesting debate.

One of the most memorable topics of the night was abortion rights. The things said by both nominees resonated with many viewers, especially women. This is an important topic because both candidates are at opposite ends of the spectrum; Clinton wants for abortion to be legal and accessible, but Trump, not so much. It’s a touchy subject when speaking about what a woman can or cannot do with her body. Trump vowed to appoint pro life judges to the Supreme Court, meaning getting an abortion would be close to impossible for women who need them. Clinton fired back arguing that women should be able to make their own decisions when it comes to their body, including abortion.

Things really began to heat up mid-debate with the topic of foreign hot spots. Trump criticized Clinton’s decisions

The debate began to break away from just Trump and Clinton when Trump started interrupting the moderator, Chris Wallace, on the same topic of foreign hot spots.

Clinton fired back at Trumps accusations of her being too lenient with immigration by stating that she would be cautious of who she lets in but she will never turn away women or children.

The last topic spoken about was the national debt. Both candidates were asked why they were ignoring the problem of rising debt. Trump responded with the idea of creating an economic machine with people going back to work and companies doing better.

Clinton refutes his argument by criticizing Trump’s own slogan “Make America Great Again” and proving facts of Trump spending government money to make ads disagreeing with Ronald Reagan during the 80’s. She states that she pays for all her ads herself and doesn’t add to national debt.

Trump then, on the same topic, states that Obamacare must be repealed and replaced. He says that Clinton wants to keep Obamacare and make it even worse and that would put the country in more debt.

The debate ended with quite possibly one of the most important questions of all, “why should we vote for you as president?”

Trump answered this question by providing reasons like he will treat war veterans better, he will enforce police officers to be treated with more respect, he will do more for African Americans and Latinos than Clinton could do in her lifetime and if Clinton was elected America would get 4 more years of President Obama and we don’t need that.

Clinton kept her answer short and let everybody know in order to make this country what it should by she need all their help, energy and skills. She also told the audience she would give good jobs and good education from preschool through college.

Now this only leaves one question for all adults in America, who are you voting for?
