Everything, Everything, originally a novel by Nicola Yoon, has been made into a film and will be coming to theatres on May 19th of 2017.

This film has been directed by Stella Meghie the two main characters, Olly and Maddy, are played by Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson. Many have compared Yoon’s story to the novel and film, “The Fault in our Stars”, written by John Green. Although, they are similar, this story brings something different to the table and is interesting in its own way.

The film was announced by Warner Bros in July of 2016 and the trailer was released in February of 2017. You can watch it HERE .

Nicola Yoon writes the story of Madeline “Maddy” Whittier, an eighteen year old girl who has never left the safety of her home due to her disease, severe combined immunodeficiency, or SCID. Because of this disease, Maddy must remain her home, which has been remodeled to fit her needs, and only come into contact with people who have been sanitized. The only people she ever sees regularly are her overprotective mother and her nurse, Carla. She has rarely ever questioned her disease and in fact, has come to accept her life as it is. That is, until she sees Olly.

As soon as Maddy lays eyes on Olly she is sucked inside a whirlwind that will take her on the adventure of a lifetime and make her step out of her boundaries. Together, Maddy and Olly are willing to risk everything for love, even if it means losing everything.
