The class is taught by Mrs. Bobadilla, and would give you a head-start with people ethics. It is only one semester long.

The purpose of the class is to teach students the emotional and social development of younger children, and brain development. The class can also can help students communicate better with kids and challenge themselves.  They also get to experience working with kids at Searles Elementary, educating the younger generation, helping them learn more on what they are struggling with the most such as reading and writing. The class learns to be responsible with the kids they are assigned to. The class also includes many fun projects!

There are many benefits that come with taking this class. Benefits such as students getting a chance to learn a lot about themselves and how big of an impact they can have on their Searles buddies. The students get to find something within themselves and become a positive role model.

Not only does Logan students get benefits, but the Searles students does as well. They get to provide them with confidence and help improve on things that they are most struggling on.

Ms. Bobadilla encourages you to take the class. She has been teaching it for 3 years. What motivated her to teach this class, was a book project she has been giving her students in other classes she taught in. She loved seeing the positive dynamic between her Logan Students and elementary students. Therefore, she wanted to extend that experience to impact more people for a longer period of time.
