“Invasion of Privacy” is one of the latest projects released by the the world famous female rapper Cardi B. The album, already certified gold by the RIAA, has taken the world by storm and currently sits at number one on the Billboard Top 200.
The energetic and varied album features some of the best performances by Cardi B so far. Touching on sensitive topics, personal life, and creative humor, the songs really allow the rapper’s unique personality to really through, further cementing her stardom.
After listening to all 13 songs, Logan student Andrea Rosales was impressed with the creativity and different features of the album. “‘It reminded me of the saying, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover,’” she said. Originally, she wasn’t even that interested in Cardi B’s work, but after hearing the first few songs, she has found a new favorite singer. “My favorite songs would be ‘Get Up 10’, ‘I Like It’, and ‘Ring’”, Andrea recalled. “I would highly recommend this album.”
According to Billboard, “Cardi B’s album “Invasion of Privacy” is only the fifth song written by a female rapper to reach number one since 2012.”
Student Hannah Hall enjoys how “there’s so many good songs that get me hyped. My favorite song is ‘Best Life’ featuring Chance the Rapper.” She would also recommend Cardi B’s project to others, since she thinks it’s a great way to improve one’s mood or express one’s feelings.
If you haven’t heard Cardi B yet, “Invasion of Privacy” definitely a great place to start. The American rapper is becoming more and more famous by the day, and her latest album truly showcases her amazing skills.
