While walking to the Union City library after school on Wednesday, we saw a new goose family living near the library.

Many individuals think positively about the goose family.

Tiffany Bello, a junior, said, “I think they are really cute! It’s my first time seeing goslings near our library. I hope they live happily for many years.”

Prachi Pati, a senior, said, “I have never seen so many geese living near the library. The babies are so tiny and cute. Last time I visited the library, they were so small and now they grew up a lot. I hope they are healthy.”

However, there are some people that think differently about the family.

Katrina Limqueco, a senior, said, “I dislike geese because the last time I ran into them while walking home, they were in my way. I stomped loudly to make them move, but they didn’t move and one of them hissed at me. I also think they pose as an invasive species in the US and Canada because they live everywhere and steal a lot of natural resources from the animals living there, like squirrels.”

Even though there are some people that dislike geese, many like them and want them to live well.
