1000px-the_cw_2-svgThe annual CW crossover aired this week with all of its superheroes working side by side to defeat their biggest threat yet.  Not only did we see how the superheroes worked together, the individual shows brought in millions of viewers, making it a massive success for the network itself.

The crossover started on Supergirl, on November 28th. The episode basically talks about the project Medusa, Kara, and J’onn are working, which is capturing Henshaw and Lillian, the Cadmus leader. Towards the end of the episode Barry Allen (The Flash) and Cisco Ramon come from another version of the earth to enlist Kara’s help, this was where the crossover actually starts.

The next episode of the crossover continued with The Flash, on November 29, 2016. From what seemed like meteor crash turned out to be an alien spaceship with emerging aliens, which later is presumed to be the “Dominators” who landed previously in the 1950’s. Barry needing help, assembles the original Team Arrow, Thea, the Legends, and Supergirl of Earth-38. Barry’s team begins to have trust issues but on the other hand the heroes are trapped with a mind-control device and before anything else can happen, Sara, Ray, Diggle, Thea, and Olivers are teleported away before The Flash can do anything about it.

The crossover continues with Arrow. This episode aired on November 30th, where Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow, finds himself back at Queen Manor with both of his parents alive. However, they eventually realized that he, Diggle, Thea, Sara, and Ray are being held unconscious inside pods on a Dominator ship. The episode ends with the team learning that the Dominator mothership is headed towards Earth.

The crossover concludes with the Legends of Tomorrow. Nate, Mick, Amaya, Felicity, and Cisco travel back in time to the first Dominator invasion in Oregon, 1951 and The Legends successfully capture the Dominator for information but end up getting caught by Federal agents. They end up managing to destroy the bomb that was originally going to kill all the metahumans and force the Dominators to stop using their nanotechnology.  The crossover ends with Cisco giving Supergirl a device so that she can travel between their universes.

We finally got to see all of the CW’s superheroes work together and defeat their common enemy. I hope that we’ll see more collaborations from them in the future!
