A parking lot similar to the site of the tragedy

According to the police, a young child who ran into a Union City parking lot past Saturday was hit by a car and died.

The officers who responded said that the boy ran into the parking lot at 1720 Decoto Road, coming from a nearby store where his parents were shopping. His parents are devastated by the loss of their son, and that their 23 months son has not yet seen enough of this world before leaving forever.

The boy was hit by a slow-moving car that just got into the parking lot. Everything happened very quickly and the boy’s parents didn’t have time to react and prevent this tragedy. The police were dispatched to the parking lot at 3:15 p.m. and after minutes of searching, they found the boy under a car.

The boy was immediately taken to a trauma center, but he died not long after the treatment started. The police said that the driver of the vehicle is cooperating and several witnesses are providing consistent statements.
