The Fate of the Furious, alternatively known as Fast & Furious 8, is the eighth installment of The Fast and Furious Franchise.

The film, which comes out this April, is directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. The film will star Vin Diesel as Dominic, Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris Bridges as Tej Parker, and Charlize Theron as Cipher– the newest villain who torments Dominic and his crew.

The story starts with Dom and Letty, who are on their honeymoon in Cuba; Brian and Mia have also retired from the “game”. When a mysterious woman seduces Dominic into the world of crime that he can’t seem to escape, he betrays the people he most cares about: his family.  The family that he has fought so hard to protect will now fight for the man that made them a family. With the help of Deckard Shaw and Mr. Nobody, the team travels to the icy plains of Barent Sea to bring Dominic home and restore their family.

The trailer starts off with the whole gang back in action, but in a surprising turn of events, Dominic crashes into Luke’s car as they are driving off, causing him to turn over. Dominic ends up in jail.

But the cast of this movie is not that only thing that’s getting all the heap. The cars are getting just as much attention. On car in particular is the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Dodge has been giving us a little teaser throughout the commercials, not only for franchise promotion, but for a build up to its formal debut at the 2017 New York auto show, which takes place the same week the movie arrives in theaters .

Now, we can’t say for sure how exactly this movie will play out, but according to the trailer and the synopsis of the plot we can definitely say that you’re in for a ride!
