homework-624735_960_720HUG is a program offered to teachers at James Logan High School

HUG stands for “Help yoUr Grade” This program is intended for students and teachers that have different time schedules, but still need to get their work done.

Let’s say you weren’t here a day of school and your teacher has 4th period lunch, whereas you have 5th. Also, your family doesn’t let you stay after school to do any makeup work. That’s where the HUG program kicks in. Your teacher that is involved in the HUG program sends an email about the student’s situation to another teacher in the program. Now, you will be able to take the test in another classroom but with another teacher.

The student still gets the credit that the teacher is offering due to an absence or make up. And you get teacher supervision.

Teacher supervision is needed in order to make sure that there is no cheating nor academic honesty.

Ask your teacher if she or he is part of the HUG program.
