The annual fall club fair at Logan took place on October 24th and October 26th. Many of the clubs had mixed feelings how it went.

Riya Arora, 11th grader and president of the Computer Science Club, had issues with how they were excused from class. She said they “should allow people to be excused every period,” and not just “4 people total.” She also thought that “there weren’t enough people buying during some periods” when discussing how their fundraising went overall.

Sukhmani Kaur Batra, 12th grader and co-president to the club, Of Books and Pens, also expressed that there was “another club selling the same thing.”  It appeared to be a common problem among other clubs as well. Club presidents feared that if other clubs were selling similar things, they wouldn’t make as much money.

Many people like Mia Albano, the Animal Rights club president, thought that “it went ok.” She chose to participate in the club fair to “raise money for events such as a trip to a farm sanctuary.”

Crystal Haryanto, an 11th grader and a president of the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, thought the club fair “was great,” and that, “the selling process was smooth and it gave avenue for more people to learn about my club.”

As for the next club fair, many thought that there’s a lot of improvement that could be made, regarding being excused from classes and better prep for the event.
