On Wednesday, May 16th, Logan juniors took the AP English Language and Composition exam. Many students spent a lot of time getting ready for the exam. They shared their thoughts regarding the exam while in preparation for it.

Gabriela Bedolla is mostly worried about not finishing the entire exam even though she has spent a lot of time practicing in class and studying on her own. Although she’s worried about not finishing, she looks forward to the aftermath of the test.

“I figure I’m doing the hard work now so that I’ll have less to do when I go to college,” said Bedolla.

Logan junior Dillon Goulart has similar thoughts regarding the test.

“I mostly took this class so that I can hopefully get college credit,” said Goulart. “I’m worried the colleges I apply to won’t count it for credit,”

Many students have worried that if they don’t get a three or higher, this whole class will have been semi-pointless.

Roxanne Ramos, a junior, is still worried about the other classes she’s taking.

“I have to study for this big test, but also make sure I stay on top of all my work in my other classes,” Ramos said. “My teachers have assigned projects and test for the days of my AP exams where I won’t even be in class,”

Cassady Cardana, 11th grader, said that she, “…feels a little prepared but mostly stressed,” she’s also one of many who, “feels like once it’s over I’ll finally be able to relax.”
