Now that baseball has come to a close in 2016 it’s time for teams to stock up on players, whether that be signing contracts or trading for players.

The SF Giants 2016 season came up short when they fell to the Chicago Cubs in the division series. A blown save Sergio Romo and closer issues dawned on the Giants.  Now that the season is over, the Giants look forward to signing a closer for their bullpen. The option for closers is quite big this year with big names like Kenley Jansen, Mark Melancon, Aroldis Chapman, and Greg Holland. All these closers would complete the bullpen for the Giants but they only get to pick one of the many great closers listed.

There are rumors that the Giants may be trading for fan favorite 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval. Now if this trade does happen many Giants fans would be happy that there is an all star 3rd baseman is returning to San Francisco. However, keep in mind that Pablo Sandoval is currently dealing with an injury right now and is therefore questionable to play next season.
