QOTWOn this question of the week I went around Logan and asked students, specifically seniors about senior quotes. There has been a rumor going around campus stating that seniors won’t be able to have senior quotes. I took the advantage of the situation to see how students would react to it saying there was no quotes for seniors. Most were negative.

People like Ana Karen already had a quote. “I feel sad because I can’t use my quote eat spaghetti to forget regretti,” she expresses.

“I’m disappointed because I was actually starting to think of a quote,” states Amber McGee.

“I’m really mad because I felt like they’re really great and I’ve lost my hope of having my own senior quote,” says Marcos Piedra.

A few people then went into why they should be included in the yearbook.

“I feel that we should have senior quotes because it’s the last way people get to express themselves before leaving to the real world,” points out Alejandra Guerrero.

“I feel like they’re taking out a memory of our senior year and it’s unfair. We won’t be able to even go into all your books and laugh at the weird and funny quotes my classmates thought of,” says Karla Hernandez.

“We should have them because there’s so many photos of these faces and no quotes to give a personality to,” states Jessica Esquibel.

“It’s outrageous that yearbook thought that they could take away senior quotes without telling the senior class. It’s one of the perks of graduating and if they can take away quotes, what else can they take away?” expresses Alexandra Newsom.

Then there’s Gary Bernados.

“I’ll be fine as long as I’m getting quoted on this.”
