The Logan Wind Symphony started off the annual Performing Arts assemblies, presented in two doses in the Pavilion. Their performance of “Festive Overture” by Dmitri Shostakovich, on a temporary stage at the east end of the Pavilion and conducted by band director Ramiro Barrera, earned the applause of the assembled student body.
