According to Travel Market Report “The Star Wars expansion at Disney World and Disneyland will put guests in the middle of a battle between the resistance and the First Order”  CEO Bob Iger said that the new addition to the parks are going to be “jaw dropping” and that guest will be put in “an epic battle between the First Order and the Rebel Alliance”

The addition will be at both Disneyland in Anaheim, California and at Disney World in Orlando, Florida according to Curbed.  Also, one of the signature attractions will be a ride that “lets you take controls of the Millennium Falcon,” the spaceship commanded by Han Solo and Chewbacca. Disney says that guests will steer the vessel through space, fire laser cannons”

Also, according to Good Morning America of Avatar-themed additions.  “The Valley of Moara is filled with lush forests, exotic plants and floating mountains, plus signs that translate phrases from the film’s unique language. The landscape becomes bioluminescent at night, while food offerings are vibrantly colorful.” They also sampled the ride of Flight of Passage where a rider is scanned to make a custom avatar and be able to ride.

Disney is facing unique challenges at Animal Kingdom because of the structure of Pandora with their floating mountains and landscapes. They will also include 3-D holograms, audio animatronics as well as retail, food and beverage outlets.

Many are looking forward to new additions at the parks, and they are even more excited to see the Disney legacy living on in the form of new ideas and additions, be sure to check them out upon opening.
