James Logan’s House 1 Office Assistant, Anna Reyna, has recently taken a lost kitten under her care.
“My kids found him at Searles Elementary School in the garden last Wednesday,” Reyna told The Courier. “He is about seven weeks old. Black and white, like a cow.”
She says, “When we found him, there were two cats. He had a sibling, but they had to put her down. He was a boy and the other was a girl. He doesn’t have a name yet. We just call him Cat.”
“I had to take him to the vet so they could clean him up,” Reyna added, “He was anemic and had an upper-respiratory infection, basically a cold. The veterinarian gave him medicine for his infection.”
The kitten is now slowly recovering in Reyna’s home. “The cat is starting to play with our dogs now,” she says. “They are really gentle with him.”
Reyna has not yet found a permanent home for the kitten.
“If anyone is interested in adopting, they can email me at anreyma@nhusd.k12.ca.us,” She says.
