supposed “illness” and wants to marry his daughters to doctors to get a discount for treatments/ medication.  While his servants try to prevent it.

The main characters of the play; Argan (the hypochondriac), Beline (Argan’s 2nd wife) , Angelique and Louison (Argan’s daughters), Beralde (Argan’s brother) , Cleante (Angeliques lover) , Toinette (maid-servant of Argan), Mr. Diafoirus (physician), Thomas Diafoirus (physician’s son, engaged to Angelique by her fathers order, Mr.Purgon (Argan’s physician), Mr.Fleurant (apothecary), and Mr. de Bonnefoi (a notary).

The director of the school play is Robert Richardson.

Vanessa Franco-Castillo a senior, states that “ I think people should go and see the play because its a rather interesting way to entertain yourself and your friends. Each showing of every play is always different, always an unique experience; it’s a once in a lifetime moment where you connect with the characters, get pulled into the story. I also heard that the pay might be very interactive with the audience.”

Manase Misa, a 12th grader, plays Beralde and suggests people to see the show because it is full of comedy and carries messages about our society today.

The play will be shown on April 19th, 20th, and the 21st and the duration is about an hour and a half.
