Spring break is coming up and many students are taking this opportunity to have some fun during the week off. Lots of students have experienced large amounts of stress ever since winter break ended and plan to take time to relax.

The Courier asked several students about what they planned to do for break. Some, like senior Mateo Tolentino, can’t wait to earn some money. “I’m looking forward to get my hours done for work,” stated Tolentino. “I’m getting my paycheck soon and I’m gonna spend that money on a ton of food,” he added.

Others decided to make traveling plans. Many intend to spend their break in southern California, where it is sunnier. Amy Madlangbayan, a senior, told the courier, “I plan on going to Los Angeles and Sacramento,”

Lots of students just want to take it easy.  “I’m just chilling,” senior Mariel Ner said. “I’m sleeping in all day and I’m enjoying not being [at school]” Madlangbayan added.  Students were asked what activities they would suggest for other students. “I suggest watching youtube, netflix, and going out to run” was Ner’s response. Spending time with friends is also a great way to enjoy spring break. “ I would have a picnic at the beach when it’s sunny, I recommend Santa Cruz,” Madlangbayan said.

Overall, there are a ton of reasons to look forward to this upcoming spring break, so enjoy it, make great memories and be safe.
