On Thursday November 30th, the Logan Leadership held its first ever fall festival at the basketball courts. We decided to go to the festival and check out all of the fun and amazing things that leadership had put together for the festival.

When arriving at around 4:45, we noticed that a few of the food trucks had already arrived and were serving food to people who also came early. There were a variety of food trucks ranging from a waffle truck, to a Mexican food truck. The prices for the trucks were reasonable and the food was prepared and served very fast. There was something for everyone at the festival.

Leadership held a variety of games that students could play for the prize of tickets. The tickets could be exchanged for certain prizes such as cupcakes, or a festival popular–fish. There were also performances by students from the senior class.

We talked to Zulikha Marouf, a senior involved in Leadership. When asked what she thought about the festival she said, “it went very well for our first time doing it. I’m proud of how it turned out in the end.” We asked her what she thought could be improved if leadership were to hold another festival and she said, “Possibly getting people more aware of the event because we didn’t have the turn out that we thought we were going to get.”

Yasmin Rahimi, a senior, said,”That the food was really good as well as the entertainment was fun to watch. I really enjoyed the night with my friends.”
