Going into March 25th’s game against the Kennedy Titans, the varsity baseball team figured that it would be a tough fight.
The Titans were undefeated in league play with a 6-0 record, and the Colts were in second place with a 
5-1 record. As it turns out, the Colts were more than up for the challenge, and they came away with a convincing 10-0 victory.
The Colts jumped out on the Titans early while scoring 3 runs in the first inning and two in the third. The early lead was more than enough for Oscar Lepe as he went the distance pitching all seven innings. The senior struck out five batters while giving up only four walks, three hits, and zero runs in the game.
The Kennedy pitchers weren’t so lucky as the team used three pitchers during the game. Logan pounded out eleven hits with contributions from the entire line-up. The Colts had a .379 batting average and an impressive .514 on base percentage for the game. Junior Nicolas Gloria had a great game while batting .750 with a home run, double, and an RBI. Lepe helped his cause while batting .667 with 2 RBIs, and junior Nicolas Rodriguez also had 2 RBIs. Others with 1 RBI included junior Kimo Fukofuka, senior Jesse Gomez, and junior Gabriel Hursh.
