The “IT” movie trailer has just been released and movie buffs are freaking out.

The trailer has revealed the release date as September 8, 2017.  The film is an adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel under the same name, and there was also a miniseries for the novel released in 1990.

“IT” is based in two time periods: the late 50’s and mid 80’s.  The novel is about a group of children who live in a town that has a problem with people going missing.  Pennywise, the dancing clown, stays hidden under the sewers of the town’s water system.  The plot also goes into the past and present time; everything else is a mystery.

“At first the trailer looked funny… it seems like a jump scare movie.  I would watch it, possibly,” Phong Truong said.

The director, Andrés Muschietti, is not very known since he usually works on short films.  Still, there is a particular actor that some people may know–Finn Wolfhard, who will play Richie, a troublesome kid.  Wolfhard is known as playing Mike Wheeler from Stranger Things.
