After playing the role of wolverine, Hugh Jackman puts on the claws for one more show.

The movie starts off with Logan on a by pass near Mexico, from that scene alone it shows how worn down he is and that he is way past his prime. After destroying the last mutants, Charles is under Logan and Caliban’s care at the border of Mexico.

While working on his limousines gig, Logan meets a mutant, a girl that has the very same unique powers as him. The only way for her to be safe from the people who are chasing her down is to be in North Dakota in order to cross the border to Canada.

The movie has a serious tone compared to the rest of the series. From it’s vulgar use of language to it’s bloody fight scenes, no wonder this movie is rated R.

Before the film the started, they showed a preview of the upcoming Deadpool movie, it adds satire symbolism to a well known superhero, it made sense to have it in the beginning rather than ruining the tone of the movie at the end.

The conclusion for the the Wolverine series has come to a close, but the rest of the X-men series is not yet over. So is there going to be another cameo of Jack or will the role be recast to a new actor?  I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
