Yes, that’s right. The president of the United States is having beef with popular old school artist,  Snoop Dogg. Lots of artist such as Mac Miller, YG, and Lil B are throwing shots at the president. Snoop recently came out with a video called “Lavender” featuring The Weeknd and Kaytranada. What seemed to have made the President infuriated has stirred controversy with its mock execution of a clown dressed as President Donald Trump. In the video Snoop Dogg is seen firing a fake pistol at Trump. It also takes on the hot topic issue of police shootings.

At least one member of Congress is not thrilled about the rapper’s creativity. Senator Marco Rubio made headlines during his run for the presidency when he revealed he was a lover of West Coast hip hop. The politician told TMZ Snoop Dogg shouldn’t have taken aim at Trump in the video. Snoop on the other hand told Billboard he has several issues with the new president. Everything from his election to the proposed travel ban.

The president later went on twitter to say “ Can you imagine what the outcry would be if Snoop Dogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”
