A short while before it was released, Supercell announced a huge update for Clash of Clans.
The once-popular game, which has been downloaded over 100 million times, may experience a massive resurge in popularity from former players eager to check out the newest update.
Clash of Clans has fulfilled the dreams of many players in a variety of ways. Supercell finally added a “Nighttime” environment where the game, providing a dark and magical contrast to the classic sunny theme we are used to.
This suits the gameplay since players will get a whole new village to play with, and each of the troops have become a little different from before. With the new update, the troops gain unique power ups that you unlock as they are upgraded.
The top-ranked players on the normal village have already made their moves, spending thousands of gems in order to rank up in the new game mode.
The new gamemode is a 1v1 battle mode where, like Clash Royale, you are attacking a village and they are attacking yours as well. Losing only gives your opponent some trophies and none of your hard earned loot–you get that by winning attacks. Unless you spend a huge amount of gems to get three attacks, there will only be one opportunity per day to receive loot.
Supercell also completely shocked some players as now you have a collector to mine the probably the most valuable of all the resources: GEMS!!!!!
Overall the new gamemode, village, and environment has brought in new players and revived the interest some old players to try the revamped game. Hopefully, Clash of Clans will once again top the charts of the App Store.
