Logan’s Varsity baseball team shut down its second league opponent in a row without allowing a run Thursday, crushing Washington, 12-0.
In two games, Logan has scored 30 runs without giving
one up.
Logan ace pitcher Aaron Buenrostro threw a complete game one-hit shut-out in his second start of the young season, striking out ten. He gave up one base on balls.
Logan hitters had Washington’’s number, collecting 12 hits.
Vince Mosely led the way with three runs-batted-in and a double. Ruben Solis, Manny Loza and catcher Angel Perez each had two. Josh Trejo amd Alex Murillo added to the hitting hullabaloo.
Logan’s Mission Valley Athletic League-leading record is now 2-0.
Last week, the Colts smashed Mission San Jose, 18-0.
