Also during the 2018 season, Shibe will book a number of tap takeovers, or promotional events that brewers do, with participating California breweries.
Effie Spiegler, the executive chef in his sixth season overseeing all of the Coliseum’s food operations said “We’re trying to get a lot of engagement for the fans,”
During baseball season, Shibe Park Tavern is open to all ticket holders. No reservations are taken. It will be first come, first serve.
Kelly Lan, a senior said, “ I think it’s really cool that they have so much variety. It’s good that they will enjoy new food,” when asked about her opinion of the new menu.
Many are excited and happy to know that the Oakland A’s are adding food choices that fit various dietary lifestyles.
“I think it’s really good that they have something for everyone,” said Lan.
On the tap takeovers, Lan said, “I think the brewery thing is kind of cool, even though I can’t drink,”
