With the holidays over, it’s still important to keep the method of giving in mind the. Quite often individuals don’t spend much time to think about the comfort of others and how they’re doing. Some may think of considering the needy as a burden because it may cause a “bad vibe.” But for how long can individuals live in the shadow of others’ suffering? Maybe make it your new years resolution to strive to think about others.
Partnering with Blankets for Kids, James Logan’s Humanitarian Assistance Club is holding a winter blanket drive for homeless children primarily living in the Bay Area. Club advisor, Paula Atlansky, agreed to allow students to drop off blankets during lunch, before or after school to her classroom located in 506.
Because there has been several recent outbreaks of the spreading of harmful diseases, all donated blankets must be brand new. The homeless shelter offered by Blankets for Kids strongly says that in order to prevent transmitting any sort of sickness, they cannot risk carrying used blankets. Thus, please be sure any blankets being donated are brand new.
