The fourth installment of the Mass Effect series, Mass Effect: Andromeda, was released on March 21, 2017.

This time we won’t be following Commander Shepard; instead, we will go to to the Andromeda Galaxy with the Ryder twins. The game was built on the Frostbite 3 software, and several aspects have improved from previous versions.

With the addition of jet packs, players will have significantly more mobility in combat. Multiplayer still follows the same format as the Mass Effect 3, except it will not be connected to the game. In addition, the Nomad is the new and improved version of the Mako.

The best thing Bioware has changed is the removal of the Paragon/Renegade system, replacing it with four different styles of speeches for a more natural feeling. Nevertheless, there are many other features in the game which I haven’t tested yet.

Unfortunately, the early access trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda revealed that Bioware still has problems with the facial animation. The company assures its gamers that they are working on fixing it, but it won’t be resolved on the first patch.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a great game for players who are new to series and for people who are keeping up with the Mass Effect series. Despite the funky animations, it is worth playing the game.
