AOL stands for Asian Open League that is held in Hayward, California. Majority of the league consists of Filipinos, but those of different races are also welcomed. Depending on your height and skill determines what division you are put in. Everyone is welcomed to create their own team and pick up as many players as needed. Every team, has to pay a team fee for participating. I would recommend joining if you enjoy and love basketball.
This league is reviewed positively. There are many positive reviews about referees and the organization and scheduled times for games. A lot of the teams already have their own jerseys and team names which makes the organization a bit easier. You can check out some of the team players and info at iconosquare.com/aoleague. Some people also keep stats and player info which may also be beneficial.
The AOl season is actually starting very soon, but its not too late to sign up. The actual season and first game starts in December. Tons of players and teams have already been informed and are signing up or have already signed up.
