Canadian rapper Tory Lanez’s latest project, “Memories Don’t Die” has been a recent hit. According to Billboard, Tory Lanez features a lineup of “superstar assists throughout the album”, including appearances by 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Fabulous and many more famous singers.
Logan student Sade Aleese remarked that “the album was well written, [with] great collaborations. He’s always made good music, so I expected the album to be good. My favorite song is “Happiness x Tell me”. Sade recommends the album to anyone who enjoys trap or hip hop, and if you happen to like Lanez’s “Chixtapes”, then this album is a must-listen.
According to HotNewHipHop, “Memories Don’t Die” includes “eighteen new hip hop and rap songs”, each providing unique insight into the Lanez’s life.
Student Arjot Pabla also noted that Tony “says some stuff that you can relate to and you get vibes that are very upbringing. My personal favorite song is “DON’T DIE.” Arjot would recommend the album to most rap fans, but not for those who listen to songs only for beats.
Nevertheless, whoever pays close attention to the lyrics and can really relate to what Tory is saying, and could definitely enjoy Tory’s songs. Tory’s self-expression is evident in his verses, and the album truly allows his fanbase to embrace his unique identity.
