The James Logan Varsity basketball team defeated the American Eagles on Tuesday, January 19th with a score of 81-36. The Colts are now 11-6 for the season.
The Eagles seemed pretty easy to beat, considering they are now 3-14. The Colts have been playing very well this season and get better and better each game. Hopefully it will stay this way for the rest of the season.
“I don’t think they were very good,” says Shooting Guard, Micah Webster, “because we work so hard, so everything is pretty easy, going against all of the teams in this division, except for Moreau and Newark.”
“We executed more defense than the last game. We just gambled a lot with Washington”, says Center, Brenden Devera.
Logan will play their rival, Newark Memorial who is 12-5 this season. The game will be held at Logan at 7:30 pm on Friday, January 22. Come and watch the mighty Colts beat the Cougars.
