Last week The Courier posted a story about the lost kitten that was found on the Searles by Anna Reyna. That kitten has now been adopted by English teacher, Mr. Campbell.

Mr. Campbell has a lot of experience with cats and is an animal-friendly person. His prior and seventh cat had been living with him for twelve years before passing away recently. That cat was also adopted by him after being found in a tree as a kitten by fellow English teacher Mr. Hannigan. On the insistence of his wife, he agreed to adopt the cat.

During the interview Mr.Campbell said, “I believe in adoption. Everyone should have pets.” He also added that all his pets have been adopted, and that he never bought any of the pets that he had in the past. Though he has had several other cats in the past, he doesn’t feel as ready this time since his last cat passed so recently.

He also stated that he has a dog that is welcoming and easy going with the cat.

He added, “The little cat needs some furniture to scratch.”
