Rob was a boy who was raised in a poor and broken household; he was hardly even able to make it to school. His family had gone through a lot; however, unlike most, they would always stay in high spirits and hopes no matter what battle they were facing.
Rob would try to come to school every day; however, time had shown that making it to school for him was a boulder in his path. Most people would give up when put in the position that he was in, but he didn’t. Every day that he attended school, he would excel, performing exceptionally well. He knew he had the potential to excel; however, the problem was that it took a lot of effort to show up. It was the start of his senior year in high school, and he realized that this was his last year and potentially his last chance to change his life and his family’s.
Once he had come to a realization, he decided to start dedicating his time to what mattered in the future instead of materialistic and present pleasures. He developed a great amount and sense of consciousness and discipline. It hurt at first, it hurt like nothing else; however, it was going to all pay off one day. That day was going to come soon. He started setting his goals and planning everything ahead. The sleep, the food that he would call everyday meals, he tried his best, and that is what it took, and eventually, everything started falling into place. As if he untied a knot that was restricting him his entire life, he kindled a flame of clarity and health until it turned into a roaring fire, and he started understanding. And after a while, most of the things that hurt him when he took them away from himself, such as eating junk foods, staying up, and all the negative things that are normalized daily, he started to subconsciously and consciously develop a dislike towards them after distancing himself from them.
Standing atop all of the hard work that he had put in, it felt like he had finally succeeded, and it was time for graduation. Today was the day that he could show everyone how hard he worked and how well he succeeded; he was one of the people who would give a speech. Rob started his speech by talking about how tough everything was and how hard of a position he was put in, and he gradually changed himself into a more dedicated and determined person, and all that it took were a few thoughts about himself about improving; it shows how even the smallest things can trigger a chain reaction that creates the biggest effects.
Rob has just graduated from high school, and this is where the real world starts to hit him; however, he is more than prepared. He has a level of determination where he can overcome insurmountable obstacles. He has always been drawn to the environment of the world and nature. With that, he creates a company that addresses and fixes the problem of polluted water. He uses saved-up money to test out his idea on moderately large lakes in Central America, since many lakes there are polluted. He gave them an example of how it works, and they trusted him. He used his money that he had saved up for this, and it worked. He actually cleaned up the lake. The people from that county came to pay him as they were in a famine of clean drinking water. The problem of clean drinking water is a big problem that money can not fix if you do not have proper materials. The inhabitants of the village paid him a lot of money and word quickly spread of the man who could clean the lakes. And people from all over central and South America paid him to clean the lakes and other bodies of water. Soon it turned into an industry, and he became extremely successful.
Ten years have passed since graduation, and the setting is a mansion, a big one. It seems like a billionaire lives there, taking a deeper look. It was Rob. Rob had finally done what he had promised to all of his family members, the ones who were struggling with poverty, the ones who were sick, and his parents. With the discipline and determination, he made it past the struggle that had seemed insurmountable all of his life, and it proved that all it took for such a big change was just a few thoughts that turned into actions.
