Coming into their second year of high school, our sophomores pulled through with an awesome homecoming float theme, Super Mario Bros! Turning the 400’s into a real-life game, they had the characters Donkey Kong, Mario, Luigi and more.
A fellow colt, Cole Johnson thought, “…All the themes were pretty fun…it was really cool because last year our theme, Up, wasn’t as good. This year I think you can expand a lot on the idea of Super Mario Brothers….”
“I thought it was pretty cool since we sit here [in the 300’s courtyard] I saw them pull down the banner and everything…It’s kind of creative and based on a game most people played as a child.” said sophomore Joshua Kim.
A lot of people love the Super Mario Bros theme, lastly, Gwen Potenciano said, “I was excited when the theme was revealed…The theme brought back memories from when I was a child. I really like the idea of it.”
