This prom is going to be bomb, so you better have your game on!

This year’s prom is scheduled to be Saturday, May 21, 2016. The theme is Enchantment Under the Sea.

The venue for prom is The Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way S, Richmond, California. It will last from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Doors will close at 8:00pm, no re-entry is allowed, and students cannot leave before 10:00pm.

Many students are pessimistic about The Craneway Pavilion being a warehouse, but Mr. Glaze and his leadership class are giving the place to an event planner to decorate it all up and make it fancy. Last year was the first year when junior and senior prom took place together, so it was unpredictable to propose the space needed for the prom attendees. As a result the dance floor was packed, and to combat the space challenge is one of the major reasons why Craneway Pavilion was chosen for this year.

“It’s huge, the biggest one Logan has ever had. The location is so big that if we wanted we can fit a Ferris Wheel in it,” Glaze said. “We hope that this year everyone will be able to enjoy, and the dance floor and the place won’t be that compact.”

Ample number of students are also concerned about prom being in Richmond. However, that’s one thing that students shouldn’t stress about because it’s in the rim of Richmond. It is near the industrial area with tons of security. Since its a harbor, it is believed that all the three bridges can be seen from there.

Similar to last year there will be photobooths, including LifeTouch to offer personalized pictures.

If students are worried about how to commute to Richmond, Glaze has assured that students can drive to Craneway Pavilion as they have generous parking.

With all the wonderful things to look up to, students planning to go should by their tickets soon from the front office. Tickets are currently $90 for those without ASB stickers, and $80 for those with. Prices will go up every two weeks.
