The school’s Club Fair held this Tuesday, November 15, and Thursday, November 17, in Colt Court turned out to be a huge success with the overwhelming support of students from both lunches.
According to Mr. Glaze, there was a total of about twenty five clubs participating in the event. This includes clubs such as the Gaming Club, French Club, BSU, Youth Alive, Leo Club, and many others.
The Gaming Club was selling candy and soda for $1 and they will use these earnings to purchase more games. The French Club offered a “Create A Crepe” setting for students and the prices varied depending on what was inside the crepe. They will put the money they make towards field trips like Cirque de Soleil. BSU girls sold ice cream sandwiches to help pay for their Kwanzaa event in which they celebrate being African American.
Youth Alive advertised their booth around the school informing students that they would be selling Chick-Fil-A for $5. This seemed to benefit them considering the large amount of students that came out to get their delicious sandwiches. This was clearly one of the most successful clubs.
Overall, the Club Fair did a remarkable job at bringing students and different clubs together with the help of the EDM club and their upbeat music and positive attitudes.
