After spring break marks the final two month stretch until the end of the school year. Here’s what some students did over their break.
Mary, Grade 12 :“I went to UC Santa Barbara which was a really nice school that I am considering to transfer to after I do my two years at Ohlone. Then sadly I had to go to a funeral, which cancelled my plans to go to Disneyland.”
Sammer, Grade 10: “On Saturday my cousins came over from lathrop and they asked me if I can come over to their house for springbreak. Little did I know they wanted me to babysit their four-year old daughter for four days. Then cinch grades came in, and it was not very good. So my friends went to Great America the day I came back from lathrop, and then they asked me to come with them and I went to ask my parents if I can go and they said ‘Have you seen your grades?’ And then I got lectured on not trying hard enough and having to step up in school. And the rest of the week played out with me at home sleeping.”
Aniket, Grade 12: “All I did was literally sleep and gain no weight, none at all. I watched a lot of movies, got a lot of sleep, ate a lot of food. I also got my haircut, and fell in love with Zayn Malik.”
Josiah Grade 11,“I went out with my friends, went to opening day for the A’s, and I went bowling. Nothing too fancy.”
Zack, Grade 12: “I worked out with a friend, then I went and saw UC Davis for the second time, and confirmed my statement of SIRS.”
Kayla, Grade 12: “Over the spring break, I helped get ready for the upcoming musical In The Heights that shows next week. There were a few people in the little theatre working on the giant set.”
