Powder Puff football forms are now available in room 67. Females can sign up to join the football team, while males may join the cheer squad.
Any junior or seniors with no F’s and at least a 2.0 GPA as of third quarter may participate. The permission forms are due on Friday, April 15th at 3:30pm in room 67. Practices may start on April 11th and will last until the date of the Powder Puff game, April 29th.
Male cheerleaders are not allowed to wear inappropriate costumes that are degrading to women or augment any part of their anatomy. According to the Administration the male cheerleaders must “imitate cheerleaders, not make fun of them.”
Females are expected “to demonstrate good sportsmanship during practices, rally, and game” and must not “exhibit threatening or intimidating behavior.”
All participants must sell five tickets for $5 each by Thursday, April 28th in order to participate, as well as be able to spend a minimum of 10 hours at practices.
Jerseys will be checked out from room 67 on a first come, first served basis once you sell your tickets. The jerseys may be kept after the game for $25 or by selling ten tickets.
So if you’re interested in scoring touchdowns or dancing around in a short skirt, pick up a permission slip in room 67.
