While empathy is first to go in the tasteless When the Bough Breaks, there is nothing good in its place. Wealthy, striving, and beautiful couple John Taylor and Laura Taylor become not only wretched but also desperate in finding a competent surrogate mother . After coming across Anna Mitchell, Laura Taylor immediately falls in love with the hope and dreams of what their future kid might look like, not knowing what Anna Mitchell is truly capable of.
As Laura Taylor happily falls in love with their new surrogate mother, John feels otherwise about their current and permanent decision. After talking to Anna’s deranged husband, Mike Mitchell, about his bizarre work history, John gets an irreplaceable malice vibe from Anna’s current husband. As good as Anna might be at covering up her tracks, John Taylor digs a little deeper into Anna’s and Mike Mitchell’s history and discovers some frightening news.
As amazing as this movie is, the frustration placed upon the married couple can drive any viewer crazy. As I was watching this film I felt a grip of anger towards Anna Mitchell. This film has a beautiful story line and the contrast of colors are wondrous, not to mention the acting was also very well done. The director, John Cassar, did an amazing job. The movie got more and more intersting as itwent on, which is what made it a beautiful and amazing film.
