On November 7, Bioware have released two trailers to explain more what to expect from Mass Effect Andromeda.
In the first trailer it talks about the Andromeda Initiative. The program was founded by Jira Carsen and that the trip to Andromeda galaxy will be a one way. She explains that humans will be on Hyperion and there will three more ships including the Nexus. This could mean that the three council races will go to the Andromeda as well. These ships will be led by pathfinders and Carsen will be in charge of the Nexus where the majority of the population will remain. Also we will see vehicles like the mako except it is now call Nomad which will not have any weapon. Scanning will return, but it will be a portable device. The new feature of the game is setting up outposts on planets that the player discovered.
In the second trailer, it reveals the plot of the game. It shows the Hyperion under attack by the Kett. The Kett will be taking an antagonistic role. Later in the trailer it shows a default setting of the male Ryder. Ryder will be the new pathfinder on Hyperion, which means something have happened to the original pathfinder. The game may have boss battles against giant creature.
Later on that day, Bioware revealed two companions that will join Ryder. They are Peebee the asari that have appear in previous trailer and Liam a human that is part of Ryder’s crew. Multiplayer will return to the game and crafting will be in the game. The one thing Bioware removes from the game is the renegade/paragon system and will create conversation that is more fluid.
While Bioware is still keeping many secrets about the game, they have at least impress their fans a with spectacular trailers and information on the features of the game.
