The world sees the new Apple AirPods as a way to “flex” or show off your money because these are far more expensive than the regular $29.00 EarPods that Apple has made in previous years.
On Apple’s official website AirPods go for $159.00, which is a huge difference than the original EarPods with the wire. They’ve also been memed across all social media platforms because of this price difference and the cordless feature that helps with mobility. Users don’t have to worry about the cord that gets in the way when they’re doing things such as sports or other activities that require more movement. But what do Logan students think about Apple AirPods?
“I really like them,” Junior Julian Rangel said. “There is no cord so it doesn’t get in the way of stuff and you can take them everywhere.”
AirPods are produced by the Tech company Apple and are wireless Bluetooth earbuds released in 2016. These AirPods automatically sync through Apple’s iCloud service allowing users to switch audio sources to other supported devices connected by the same Apple ID.
This mobility and free experience is a major draw for many Apple users like Junior Jedric Reyes.
“I like my AirPods,” Reyes said. “I get to use them if I ever work out or go on runs because they don’t really get in the way like the wires.”
According to Reyes, some of the best designs are the simplest.
“I think it is really innovative, like its a very small fix to something, and it gives a full range of motion when working out or doing activities,” Reyes said.
Because the AirPods have shot forward in popularity, there are those who want to have a pair for themselves and would like to hop on the hype train with other AirPod users.
“They seem really cool, very innovative and very nice to have,” Junior Elijah Carrinol said. “Because everybody has them, and I don’t have a lot of clout.”
Carrinol’s experience with traditionally wired earbuds led him to look for something without a cord.
“With the AirPods, I don’t have to worry about my wires being shorted and stuff because I always break my earphones,” Carrinol said.
These Apple AirPods have taken the people by storm changing the game of Apple earphones forever. You get the same comfort with the Apple AirPods that you can get from Earpods or Earbuds but without the cord that people don’t really enjoy. The Bluetooth feature makes it easier to move around without a wire getting in your way. These Logan students had nothing but positive feedback about these innovative earphones.
