The Golden State warriors have been looking red hot lately, as they step on their journey to claim the throne.
They are considered the “bad guys” of the league because of all the talent on the team, as they are predicted to win it all this year by most people. The Warriors have been an impressive and good team for the past couple of years, with multiple playoff appearances and have recently won the NBA finals. Except last year, when they blew a 3-1 lead in a series with the Cavaliers. It was the season that fell short since they just beat the record for most wins in a season beating the Bulls 1996 72-10 record. They were the first team to blow a 3-1 lead in the finals ever.
Warriors have been making big off-season moves since the disappointing loss in the finals last season. A big acquisition from the offseason was all star forward and former MVP Kevin Durant. Also, two good draft picks that have been looking imposing to start the pre season. Most sports columnist were worried about how the warriors will share the ball with all of the offensive talent on one team. The Warriors have four out of five starters being an all star in the last year. So far in the preseason, the warriors look like they will be dominating in the season with their great coaching and ball movement. By the looks of it the Warriors will be 82-0 this season. It’s going to be very interesting and entertaining to watch them play.
Personally, I have the same concern just like everyone else has. Share the ball with so much talent on one team, with all the big egos, is going to be a challenge. However, the Warriors have a great coaching staff and I think they will find a way to make it work. In my eyes, I see the team winning multiple championships back to back for the next few years. Hopefully so because The Warriors have the best fans and deserve a championship win. Kevin Durant is a huge and valuable acquisition to the team and will help them get to where they need and are expected to be. Anything less than a championship is a disappointment.
