The James Logan Forensics Team is one of the most notable activities we have here at Logan. They have competed and won in Speech and Debate competitions all over the nation. Mr. Lindsey, who founded the forensics team in 1984, has received many awards, including “National Forensics Coach of the Year,” during his time here at Logan.

However, despite all the glory with the James Logan Forensics team, they seem to be in a bit of trouble, financially, at the moment.

They started a fundraiser in January to help pay for tournaments and coaches, since they don’t receive funding from the district. As of now, they have only raised $3911 out of the $25000 they wish to raise. Although they only have 17 people who have donated to their fund, it seems like they are getting more donations as word spreads. They are still encouraging all students, parents and alumni to help support the program by donating.
