Saint Mary’s College of California was established in 1863 and is located in Moraga, California. It is approximately 10 miles from east Oakland.

The campus holds about 4,500 students which is around the same size of Logan. Freshmans are required to live on campus their first year, and are allowed to bring their cars, which is free.

Campus life at Saint Mary’s is pretty lively, with more than 40 clubs for students to choose from. They also host recreational activities like parties, movie nights, comedy nights, dances, and dinners.

The acceptance rate of Saint Mary’s is 69.5%. In order to qualify or apply you must earn credits from certain classes.

They require four years of English, three years of math, two years of a foreign language, although three years preferred, two years of science, and two years of social studies. According to the 2015 admissions, they also suggest having a G.P.A between 3.4-3.9.

Class sizes are minute and on average contain nineteen students. The student to faculty ratio is thirteen to one.

Students have various option for Saint Mary’s study-abroad program. They can travel to countries like Argentina, Australia, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Africa and Spain. Their program is ranked amongst the top-ten master’s level institutions worldwide.

75% of Saint Mary students receive financial aid. They average financial aid they received is $32,000 do. In order to apply for Financial Aid, students need to to fill out FAFSA (deadline March 15th 2016).

The Undergraduate deadline is January 15, 2016.
