Battlefield 1 sold almost fifteen million copies on release weekend. Surprisingly EA DICE sold more copies of Battlefield 1 on October 21st 2016 than Battlefield 4 (2013) and Battlefield Hardline (2015) combined.

With an amazing multiplayer experience, EA DICE makes a very short but interesting single- player experience. The single player experience is only six hours with five interesting missions.

My personal experience with the single-player mode is that it is very short but if it was longer it might have made single-player of the year. The best part of the single player is that Lawrence of Arabia is part of it and you might know him from the 1962 movie of the same title.

It includes many great stories but my favorite is “The Runner”, you play as Frederick Bishop who is part of a naval invasion on the Ottoman Empire homeland in Spring, 1915. His biggest concern is Jack Foster, a kid he met on the second day of the invasion and is the new charge of Frederick Bishop. The kid even lied about his age just to get past prescription and to meet him.

I would say if you are getting this game just for the single-player, then it is not a game worth getting. If you want to get it for the multiplayer then you are in luck because this game is amazing for it, especially with the new gamemode operations that requires you to capture all flags then move up while the enemy is defending the territory.

All in all I would recommend the game, but only for certain modes of playing, so know what you’re getting into before making a purchase.
