In celebration of Senior Night for the football team, ASB organized football themed lunch activities in Colt Court.

Students competed against each other in a contest to see how many footballs could be thrown in a bucket within a time limit. The competitors were awarded with donut holes.

“We’re just out here to celebrate our football players.” said Leadership Spirit Commissioner An Vo.

The Student’s reaction was very positive, most praising the change of pace.

“It’s nice to have something fun to do on a nice friday like this. It’s good for all of the students and faculty to have some fun every once in while.” said sophomore JJ Sarmiento.

An anonymous student feels that “Lunch is boring and sometimes when leadership tries to make it fun it feels forced. But this time it felt pretty cool and even a little fun.”

Other students were simply pleased with the prospect of free food.

“Hey it was cool, the doughnut hole was delicious. Free food pretty much makes everything better.” Said Dominic Hernandez.

The Colts went on to beat Washington High School 63 to 6, improving their record to seven wins and three losses. They will face California High School (6-4) on Friday in the NCS playoffs.

ASB will continue throughout the year to provide fun activities for students and faculty.
