- Keep submissions civil and on the topic of the post.
- No profanity, vulgarity, racial slurs, or personal attacks.
- Comments with web links are not permitted.
Any comments that violate the above standards will be removed. Removed comments may be reconsidered for publication if they are rephrased according to the Terms of Use. The views expressed in comments are solely the authors’ and do not reflect the views of The Courier.
The Courier encourages its audience to submit story ideas, letters to the editors, or original content. To do this, please use our universal contact form found at the bottom of all pages on the website.
Byline Policy
Articles with more than two contributors will not include a byline and will be credited to the Courier Staff. All bylined writers will be held accountable for their work and its accuracy.
Editorial Policy
All editorials will be clearly identified. The views stated in editorials with no byline represent that of a majority of the editorial board. Signed columns or reviews represent only the opinion of the author.

Takedown and Correction Policy
In the event of a takedown request, the Courier staff will evaluate the request on a separate and specific basis. The person requesting the takedown should state clear, specific reasons. Simply because the post represents the person in a bad light does not require the Courier staff to fulfill the request, but the Courier may remove the post if they so choose. If the post violates copyright laws, the Courier staff must take down the post quickly and efficiently.
